Pat Bussard O’Keefe, M.S., CH, RMT is a modern-day descendant of the mystics of the mountains—Appalachian granny women. Growing up in a haunted house ignited her lifelong fascination with the paranormal and the unseen world. Today, Pat is a celebrated author, professional photographer, Certified Consulting Hypnotist (trained through the National Guild of Hypnotists), psychic, trance medium, Reiki Master Teacher, and podcast host. She is the creator and host of World of Curiosities, a podcast exploring all things mysterious and magical.

As an accomplished writer and photographer, Pat’s work has been featured in dozens of national and international publications, including Ghost Voices Magazine, The Literary Hatchet, and Haunted Times Magazine. She is also the owner and photographer at Pat O’Keefe Photography and an author with Reaper Publishing, LLC.

There’s Magick in Them Mountains, a documentary about Appalachian granny women set to premiere in Fall 2026. A member of the group Three Appalachian Witches, Pat continues to expand her expertise. She recently earned certification in Forensic Hypnosis through the NGH, helping law enforcement retrieve critical details from witness memory. She is also a Certified Stress Reduction Facilitator and trained in Stage and Demonstrational Hypnosis. Pat holds a Master of Science degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and has pursued additional graduate and postgraduate studies in leadership, higher education, and communication at Virginia Tech, Radford University, and George Mason University.

With her unique blend of academic, spiritual, and experiential knowledge, Pat travels the country conducting séances, gallery readings, energy healing sessions, and workshops on a wide range of paranormal and metaphysical topics.
